Determination of Anxiety Levels of University Students for Exams Attended After the Pandemic Period

Abstract

The aim of this research was to compare the test anxiety levels of university students attending Ankara Social Sciences University Northern Cyprus Campus according to various variables.. 114 university students participated in the research who continue their education in Social Sciences University of Ankara Campus of Northern Cyprus in the 2021-2022 academic year and were determined by the easily accessible sampling method. The test anxiety scores of the participants were measured with the Exam Anxiety Scale. One-way analysis of variance and t-test were used to determine whether there were significant differences between the variables used in the study and exam anxiety. As a result significant differences were found between the gender, relationship, psychological discomfort, treatment and father education status of the participants and their test anxiety scores. However, no difference were found between the participants' mother's education level, class level, income level, employment status, number of people they live with, and concentration problems.
